Open rock formations and caves: The rock arches and figures around the village can be viewed from outside, up close, with no special preparation. The caves of the Lukovit karst are a different matter: they vary widely in depth, access and risk.

Important: Do not enter a cave without equipment and an experienced guide. We do not publish which caves are freely accessible, because we have no verified information about it — seek local guidance before visiting.

Dupkata: A natural rock arch above the Vit River and one of the most photogenic places around Aglen.

Sloncheto: A curious rock form that has become one of the symbols of the region.
